By night, they travel to the places people insist are haunted. Most cases end with pipes, bad wiring, odd acoustics, folklore, or fraud. Some do not.
When the same audio anomaly begins appearing in recordings made hundreds of miles apart, Nora and Nick face a possibility neither of them is prepared for: perhaps they have not been documenting a haunting. Perhaps they have been teaching one how to speak.
